Craig E. Boyce

Craig Boyce, “Ace”, age 55, went to his heavenly home on November 26, 2017, due to complications resulting from a motorcycle accident. 

Craig was born on July 16, 1962 to Paul W. Boyce and Ella Mae (Judd) Boyce in Painesville, Ohio. He was married on September 26, 1987 to Leeann (Beebe) Boyce in Painesville, Ohio. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville, and was baptized into the Christian faith on November 26, 2016.

Craig was an Operating Engineer with Local 18 IUOE, and worked for Sitetech, Inc., and previously Great Lakes Crushing. Craig started his construction career as a laborer with the Ohio Bricklayer’s Union.

Ace could always be seen with friends, surrounded by classic cars and motorcycles, and in the garage restoring and rebuilding hot rods and Harleys. Craig particularly enjoyed spending time with his family and was a loving and dedicated provider. 

Craig is survived by his wife, Leeann (Beebe) Boyce; son Cody (Nina) Boyce; son Dylan Boyce; half-brother Terry (Louise) Mowery; and sister Paula (Glenn) Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to a Veteran’s fund of choice, or to Zion Lutheran Painesville.

The family will receive visitors from 2:00-4:00pm & 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, November 30 at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, December 1 at Zion Lutheran Church, 508 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio. Christian burial to follow immediately at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
