Daniel "Danny" Green Obituary

Daniel P. Green (Danny) 69,  passed away January 6, 2018 in Madison, after a short illness.

He was born September 29, 1948 in Watson County, W.Va. to Irene [Heater] and Ordie Dale Green.

He has been a resident of Painesville since 1959 and a graduate of Harvey High School in 1968.

He worked and retired from Cole Manufacturing after 39 years of service as a roll press and tow motor operator.

Danny loved the simple things in life, which included walking everywhere. He never met a person that did not become his friend. He took great pride in his outdoor Christmas decorations and received several awards from the City of Painesville on his creative displays.  His favorite past time were puzzles, collecting knives, listening to country music, watching old western television shows and sports events. He loved reliving his childhood pranks about himself and his best friend John Russell.

He is survived by his brother Dale (Josie) Green of Clearwater Florida, sister Brenda (Mike) Radziej of Perry, sister-in-law, Judy Baxter, several nieces and nephews and his oldest childhood friends, John and William Russell of Madison.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers, Wesley Baxter & Jack Boggs.

A special thanks to his adopted family at the Lantern.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
