Services for Gladys Faye Waldman age 92 of Perry, Ohio will be Tuesday at 12:00 PM at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM
Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville, followed by food and fellowship at Perry First Baptist Church.
Gladys Faye was the daughter of John Bernice and Essie Earle (Burns) Jones born on December 30, 1923 in Trenton TN and passed away June 23, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital.
She was a waitress for several years at the Mentor Harbor Yacht Club and Carlisle Allen Company in Painesville. She retired from the Ohio Unemployment Services in Painesville. She was a member of Emblem Club for 68 years and served the Painesville Emblem Club # 85 as President, other local and state offices and community service projects. She excelled at creating wonderful meals and desserts, and no one ever left her table or her home hungry or feeling less than totally welcomed and loved.
She is survived by, son, Phillip (Karen) Waldman of Perry, Ohio, daughter, Rev. Rose Ann Lonsway of Willoughby, Ohio
Grandchildren, Edward (Natalie) Lonsway, Jennifer Lonsway , Luke Waldman and Thomas Waldman, Great grandchildren James Freshwater, Brady and Andrew Lonsway
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward in 1975 and her siblings, Mozelle Coleman, Clytus Jones, Geneva White, Muriel Jones, Robert Jones, Phillip Jones, Jessie Jones and Molly Ann Hoffman
