Jean Carol Breedlove

Jean Carole (Stenroos) Breedlove, age 86, a kind and caring woman who never had an unkind word about anyone and whose home and heart was always open, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016.  Her family invites you to a graveside service on Friday, June 24th at 1:00pm at Perry Cemetery (Middleridge Rd. and Center St.), Dr. David Tysinger officiating. A fellowship meal will be held right after at First Church of Christ, 422 Mentor Ave., Painesville.

Mrs. Breedlove was born on December 25th, 1929 in Cleveland. She is a 1948 graduate of Harvey High School, Painesville. She was employed by Sears from 1979 – 1995, then worked for Madison Avenue Greenhouse from 1997 – 2014. Jean enjoyed her gardens, reading, playing cards and especially enjoyed time with her family. She had a strong love for her Lord and His Church.

Jean is survived by, children, Larry (Suzi) Breedlove of Montville, Trina (William) Beebe of Columbus, Sue (Dan) Sweetland of Cincinnati, and Tom (Lisa) Breedlove of Painesville; 6 grandchildren (Jessica, Matthew, Johanna, Joel, Kyle and Jacob); and 7 great grandchildren (Taylor, Ethan, Noah, Quinn, Selah, Finley, and soon to be born, Briar); siblings, Phyllis Steven of Willoughby and Gloria Hager of Painesville; and sister-in-law, Lois Stenroos of Painesville.

She was preceded in death by husband, Arthur Lee Breedlove; parents, Walter and Florence (Chapman) Stenroos; and brother, Walter Stenroos.
