Mary Beth was born in Cleveland to Winifred (Bender) and George Francis Cook on April 28, 1960. She entered into eternal rest Friday April 13, 2018 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts.
Mary Beth was a thoughtful, giving, kind, loyal, loving, and grateful wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She had a warm, sweet nature and a strong faith in Christ. Those who were fortunate enough to have known Mary enjoyed her great sense of humor. She was a great storyteller, and will always be remembered for her smiles, giggles, and love of laughter.
Mary Beth found joy in life’s simplest pleasures. She enjoyed taking walks with her husband, spending time surrounded by nature, watching old movies, and collecting stuffed animals. Mary continued the family traditions of jigsaw puzzling and playing dominoes. Cupcakes were her favorite sweet delight.
Mary Beth is survived by her husband, Timothy; her mother, Winifred Cook; her brother, Christopher (Ludovica) Cook; her sister, Cynthia (Robert) Dunne; 3 nephews, 4 grand-nieces, and 3 grand-nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her loving and gentle father.
She attended Julie Billiart School, where she met her husband Tim. They share the same birthdate, and were wed on June 30, 1990. Mary Beth attended Fellowship Bible Church, Chagrin Falls.
In JOYFUL celebration of Mary Beth’s life and death, may we remember her final selfless act of tissue and organ donation. Mary’s donation is the beginning of fresh hopes and dreams for the children, grandchildren, friends and family of those who received the gift of sight or gift of life.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Lifebanc@lifebanc.org or Fellowship Bible Church.
