Rosemary Balazs

A Memorial Mass for Rosemary Balazs will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 18th at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville, Ohio. Family and friends will be received 10:00 UNTIL 10:30  at the church.

Ms. Balazs was born October 22, 1931 in Painesville and passed away November 10, 2017 at Lake Med Nursing and Rehab Center in Painesville Township. 

Rosemary was a hard-working, strong, prayerful, and caring person.  Over the years she cared for many family members in need, and any friend needing a helping hand.  She was a lifetime member of St. Mary Church in Painesville and she loved her Catholic faith.

Rosemary is survived by her nephews, Harry (Nell) Craft and Joe (Estelle) Balazs; nieces, Mary Bell, and Debbie (Jim) Calvin; sister-in-law, Clara Balazs; many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

She preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary (Kanter) Balazs; siblings, Joe, Margaret, Tony, Steve, Jim, John, Mary, and Sylvia.

The family would like to thank Paul Malchesky and Candy Phipps for their kindness and attention they gave Rosemary over the years.  They would also like to thank the staff and many friends at Lake Med Rehab Center.
