Elinor S. Kinkelaar, age 92, passed away April 12, 2024, at Grand River Health and Rehab Center in Painesville. She was born January 12, 1932, in Painesville to Adolph J. and Catherine (Schuerger) Orient.
Elinor worked for the Painesville Township School District as a bus driver for many years and Tops/Finest grocery store in Painesville Township.
She enjoyed cooking and baking, gardening, crocheting, traveling, and most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Mom shared her "chocolate gene" with all her family.
Elinor is survived by her daughters, Deborah (John) Thompson, Wendy (Tom) Young and Constance (Joe) Tomasik; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Kinkelaar in 1980; daughter, Donna Sanelli; son, Daniel Kinkelaar; her parents; four brothers and three sisters.
Friends will be received 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, Painesville, Oh. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 12 Noon at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fairport Harbor. Inurnment will be at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville, Oh.
