This is quite a late condolence but words cannot express the sadness I am feeling right now. I had no idea this happened. I remember Amber from Jefferson, we went to school together, although we were not that close Amber was always very nice, she had such a kind heart and was so beautiful. I wish I could turn back time just to say hello to you again and talk. My heart is broken. I will never forget you and your beautiful smile. Condolences to her family and friends. Rest in Peace Amber โค

Mrs. Johnson-Let me begin by saying how sorry I am for the loss of your daughter. What a special person! My son is a recovering heroin addict and I praise God every day that the drugs didn't take him. My prayer is that you have hope. In John 16:33 Jesus tells us "in this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." I want you to know that there are people praying and working hard with God's mighty hand to combat this awful epidemic. John 3:16 comes to my mind "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life." Gods' promise and my hope-eternity with Him and the people I love that have gone before me. Thank you for being so brave and speaking out. We will pray for you and your family.

Amber, I met you at Nevaeh Ridge the house where I truly found heaven. Sisters through sobriety and the house. Since life changed paths for us we chatted here and there through messages and we were there for each other through struggles. I know you are missed by so many but I am so thankful for the time we had together and we was able to grow further into our sobriety journey. You left a footprint on my heart I can never forget. A promise I make to you and your family is to be there for Matty and help her know the love you had for her. I miss you a lot and I know God has wrapped you in his arms and given you strength. Until we meet again you are forever in my heart and missed daily!

So Sorry to hear of Amber's death. My heart breaks for her family and loved ones. Heroin is a viscous drug that has no boundaries, no remorse, no idea how many lives are ruined or taken away. May GOD BLESS Her family in this tragic death. Please let THEM remember the good things in her life. Praying Her death saves even one Life, so proud of her family for being so open about it. Love will help you through this, your diligence in the fight against addiction will live on in your actions. May these lessons be learned by those who have stepped off the path too. God bless and help you all. AMEN

There are no words to ease the pain only faith that Jesus will hold your family in His very large arms. Two years ago, March 29 our family lost my daughter -in -law to this horror. She left 3 children. My son struggles and two of my grandsons. my son nearly died last month.God chose to send him back for which i am eternally grateful .I live with fear every day waiting for that phone call and I know what you are going through the anger, guilt and shame is overwhelming. I commend you for your honesty and bravery for bringing this to the light . Many families are in denial and live with the guilt and shame that is not ours to own .
Amber is now with the angels and is free of the snake. Forgive but never Forget. May Jesus hold your family and bring you peace and freedom. Prayers are with you and you are never alone !

My heart goes out to all. I do not know Amber, but I see how many will miss this beautiful person.. Amber's picture shows a beautiful girl with a bursting smile. Thank you for not hiding what happened. I have a young person who is in rehab with this addiction that I help. I also have someone that needs to go to rehab. These are our children, our grandchild parents. It's a lottery that many of us will lose if we don't face this huge problem and get them help. It's time to stop blaming and start helping. Getting into rehab alone is hard with waiting lists. I am so sorry that Amber lost this battle, but am grateful that you found the way to help others. My sincerest sympathy for your loss. Every time we lose someone is heartbreaking.

Darcy,Freddy,Linda & Fred ll,we are heartbroken for the loss of the life and light of your sweet child. Many people can't understand the grief & struggles the disease of addiction has caused our families even without the ultimate outcome of death. Our children ,and our childrens children were ,at times raised together more as family than mere friends. We will be with you to celebrate Ambers love & your loss & the loss to humanity on Saturday .I am so proud of you for being honest & hope that that honesty may help to save at least one more life & stop the devistation of at least one more family. There are no words I can say that can help you through this tragedy other than God needed another Angel,& he chose to bring Amber to the warmth of his light.โœจ๐ŸŒนโœ๏ธ

So sorry to hear about your family loss. We have been trying to push legislators to be a part of the local discussion. This is another tragedy for the state of Ohio. Rather than removing access to treatment Ohio leaders should stand arm and arm to make this a number one priority in this state. This can not be politics this has to be a stste pf emergency.

We need long term treatment options.....this will never be solved by just locking up people. May the Lord give you guidance to bring this issue into the public eye.....these lives can not be hidden. Thank you for taking that first step. It caught my eye.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. Please remember that Amber was not her addiction....perhaps it controlled her at times, but it was not her identity. She may not have defeated it, but she was more than it. Thank you for your openness about her addiction. It is my prayer that the life of others will be spared through your willingness to share your experiences. May God wrap you with his comfort, peace, and love.

I am so sorry for your loss. You are a courageous family to post the true cause of death and I admire and thank you. While we hear so much about the high rate of drug addiction and the terrible toll it takes on the person and their family, I think it needs to be out front and hit us in the face, every day, before we as a society realize how bad it has become and work to resolve it. This beautiful young lady, someone's daughter and mother, with so much love around her, came to such a tragic end. I am so sorry for all of you.
