Graveside services for Arthur W. Myers, of Painesville will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday ,June 27th, at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
Arthur passed away Friday June 22, 2018 at Hospice House in Cleveland. He was born on July 25, 1935 to Everett and Ethel (Layton) Myers in Tunnelton, W. V. Art was a member of the U. S. Army from 1958 to 1964 and settled in Painesville where he has lived for the last 64 years. He worked at Painesville City, Fasson and retired from Laketran. He was an avid car lover and loved to work on and restore his cars. Art was a brutally honest man with a lot of good one liners. Ex.: How are you feeling? “with my fingers”
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Fifi (Roskelly)Myers; daughter, Debbie (Rick) Doeing; sons, Jim Myers and Randy (Renee) Myers; grandchildren, Jeremy, Shawn, Tiffany, Randy 2nd, Stacy, Stephan, Rachel, Joshua and Aubrey; 11 great grandchildren; brother in laws, Ronald Roskelly and Don Weaver; sister in laws, Linda (Chuck) Roberts and Audrey (Dan) Grant.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ethel, father Everett (Josephine); sister Lena and grandson Evan.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Reserve in Cleveland.
