A Celebration of Life for Marilyn Jean Sloban, age 43, of Lakewood Ohio formerly of Perry Ohio, will be held at Riders Inn, 792 Mentor Ave. Painesville on Friday, September 28th, 2018 from 2:00 until 5:00 pm.
Marilyn was born on January 24, 1975 in Painesville and passed away September 15, 2018 at her home in Lakewood. She was 1993 Perry High School graduate and graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania with a Doctorate of Pharmacy. She was a master seamstress and equally talented at crafting, beading and cross-stitching. Marilyn loved music and frequently attended concerts and music festivals. She had a special place in her heart for animals and was a loving Mom to her cats, BeBe and Spunky. Perhaps most importantly, she gave of herself to woman recovering from addiction.
She is survived by her beloved father Jim and wife, Diane Sloban; brother, Robert and wife Natalie Sloban; sister, Heather Clark and fiancé Rick Cola; her precious nieces, Amanda, Christine and Angelica, nephew, Eric; and great nephew, Landon.
She was preceded in death by her mother Christine Krzywicki whom she loved very much
Memorial contributions may be made to the “Marilyn Jean Memorial Fund”. Any contributions will be used to defray burial expenses; the remainder will go to Edna House.
Our Free-Spirited “Minnie Mouse” will be dearly missed by everyone she touched.
