Mass of Christian Burial for Mary A. (Murphy) Evangelista, 91, of Painesville will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 7, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville, Ohio. Friends will be received 6:00-8:00 PM. Friday, December 6th at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.
Mary was born April 2, 1928 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Thomas A. and Adeline R. (St. Julian) Murphy. She passed away November 30, 2019 in Painesville.
Mary was a teacher’s aide for the Painesville City School System for 18 years. She enjoyed sewing, baking and cake decorating. She won many blue ribbons for her entries in the Lake County Fair. Mary loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her whole family.
