A celebration of life for Nina F. Nash, 93, will be held from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday, February 11th at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.
Mrs. Nash was born July 6, 1924 in Chardon to John and Niona (Halsey) Granger and passed away February 5, 2018 at her home in Painesville Township.
In her younger years, she could be found polka dancing and roller-skating. She shared 59 years of her life with her loving husband, David. Nina enjoyed camping with her family, playing cards, and reminiscing. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and loved daily visits with her great-grandson. She was a die-hard Indians fan and loved watching every game. Many mornings, Nina could be found enjoying coffee with her friends at McDonald’s. Most important in her life were her daughters, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandson.
She is survived by her daughters, Heidi Nelson (Joe Kincaid) of Concord Township and Holly (Vernon) Music of Painesville; grandchildren, Michael (Kyle) Nelson and Meighan (Dylan) Binnig; great grandson, Lincoln Binnig; and many nieces and nephews. Nina was preceded in death by her husband, David Nash; son, Kevin Nash; 2 brothers, 3 sisters and her parents.
Grandma to many, Gigi to one.
