Mr. Snyder passed away November 11, 2018 at David Simpson Hospice House from a long hard fight with blood cancer.  He was born on August 10, 1930 in Painesville, Ohio.

Serving during the Korean War stationed in Germany was a proud memory for him.  Paul worked numerous years at the Diamond Shamrock Corp. in Fairport and for Stafast Products in Grand River, retiring from Stafast in 1995.

He and his beloved wife, Genice, just celebrated their 65th anniversary on October 24, 2018.  In addition to his wife, Genice, Paul has five surviving children:  Mark (Holly) Snyder, Linda (Dave) Woodford, Diane (Andy) Yeaste, Carol (Jon) Marten, and David Snyder.

He also leaves behind the following grandchildren and great grandchildren, that he just adored and showered with love and laughter: Tim (Rona) Snyder, Julius & Lucy, Ashley (Mark) McAlpine, Logan & Payton, Lindsey Snyder, Sarah and Jack Yeaste, Paul and Alex Marten, Brian and Brandon Woodford.  Paul has a surviving sister, Donna (Chuck) Lombardy and numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful caring friends.

Brothers, Jim and Clyde Snyder; sisters, Dorothy Shay and Peggy Chaffee; along with his parents, Victor and Mary Snyder are all deceased.

In lieu of flowers, please donate, in Paul’s memory, to Hospice of the Western Reserve or to Concord Alliance Church.

The Snyder family wishes to thank everyone for their constant prayers and well wishes during this trying time.  We especially thank Hospice of the Western Reserve and his amazing nurses, especially Lisa, his long-term care nurse.

The Lord now has Paul in his comforting hands and he is forever out of pain and is granted the peace he deserves.  He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
