Tyler H. Owen III Obituary

Tyler H. Owen III --

Ty was born in Cleveland on March 16, 1958 to parents Lynda S. (Cicirelli) and Tyler H. Owen Jr. As a toddler Ty first displayed his creativity and love of the arts by getting out of bed while his parents were sleeping and he alone opened the paint can, got the roller and decided to help paint his freshly painted room that his parents had just completed.  He was so proud to welcome his baby sisters, Susan M. Owen and Carol L. Lawrence, even displaying newborn Susan through the front window to all his playmates once she came home from the hospital.  On February 9, 1964 Ty found his first passion, listing to his first Beatles song “I Want to Hold Your Hand” on the Ed Sullivan Show. This title became the mantra for his life.  His second passion occurred on February 13, 1985 when he met his soul mate, partner and wife Victoria Hensel.  He became a loving father to son Mark Baranauskas whom he instilled the passion of music and recording.  Ty was a cousin you could depend on. He was a nephew you couldn’t stay angry at. An uncle who was proud of all his nieces and nephews for the people they became and loved to smooch his great nieces and nephews and give lots of hugs. Through his love of music he met the most incredible and life-long friends.  Music is measured and musicians feel validated  by Grammys and gold records. Ty’s was always about the love of the music and those who inspired you to be the best at your craft. His validation isn’t hung on a wall, it is instilled in our hearts and inspiring us each and every day to be the best at our craft which is life.  He loved all animals especially for his four- legged friends, Ginger, Cyam, Dolce, and Atticus. Ty was surrounded by love and laughter and continued to surround us with his charm the last few days of his life and passed on January 24th.

I want to be the earth, I want to be the sky, everyone will remember me when I pass by.
