Memorial services for Alex J. Horvath, Jr., a lifetime Painesville resident, will be  held 4:00 PM Tuesday, October 10th,  2017,  at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Family and friends may call from 2-4 PM at the funeral Home.

Alex was born August 27, 1945 in Conneaut Ohio, and passed away October 4, 2017 at his home in Painesville.

Alex was a pipefitter for Local 120 from 1971-2003, he served in the US Army in Vietnam from 1965-1967. He was a 1965 graduate of Harvey High School in Painesville. He enjoyed working in his garage tinkering with things.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 336, VFW, AMVETS, and Elks Lodge #549 in Painesville.

Survivors:

Son A.J. Horvath and daughter Catherine Horvath, grandchildren Jordan, Nathan and Zoe. And 2 great grandchildren, sister Mary Ann Loth.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alexander J. and Mildred (Macoska) Horvath.
