A Memorial Mass for Ancel R. Haught, 74, of Painesville will be held Saturday, February 20 at 12:00 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville.

Ancel, lovingly known as "grandpy", was the son of Robert and Elzora (Webb) Haught. He was born August 1, 1941 in Middlebourne, West Virginia and passed away February 14, 2016 in Concord Township. Ancel served in the United States Air Force. He was a Lake County Deputy Sheriff for 27 years and drove for LakeTran for 12 years. He loved Cleveland sports teams and spending time with his family and friends. Ancel is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Lieber) (Morick) Haught, Children: Peter, Thomas, Todd (Phyllis) Haught, Trina (Haught) Greer, Tim (Bonnie) Morick and Leslie (Keith) Koenig, and 17 grandchildren who were his pride and joy.

He also leaves his brothers, John and Argyle Haught. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Aubra Haught and sister, Judy Toney.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ancel's memory may be made in care of the family.
