Services for Andrew Rihaly will be 1:00 PM Friday December 29th, 2017, Rev. Aaron Taylor will officiate at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Andrew was born January 19, 1923 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania and passed away December 25, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Euclid Hospital.
He was a machinist for American Stamping for many years. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps, serving in Idaho before entering the US Army during World War II. He also worked as a coal miner in Pennsylvania before moving to Ohio.
He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was a man of great faith and was a previous member of Painesville Assembly of God and Calvary Assembly of God of Willoughby Hills.
He is survived by his son, James (Regina) Rihaly, daughter Nancy (David) Porter, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, brother Frank Rihaly
Preceded in death by his parents John and Mary (Laban) Rihaly; brothers, John, Steve, Mike and Alex Rihaly; sisters, Mary Campbell, Ann Simonic, and Catherine Rihaly. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Crossroads Hospice, 8224 Mentor Avenue #110, Mentor, Oh 44060.
