A Celebration of Life for Ann F. Kennedy, age 87, will be at The Gathering Room at Cortview Apartments at 100 Cortview Dr, Cortland, OH 44410 from 2–4 PM on Saturday April 18, 2015.

Mrs. Kennedy a resident of Cortland, Oh and formerly of Wintersville, Toronto, and Kent, passed away on April 7, 2015 at Altercare of Mentor, Ohio. The daughter of Edward and Ora (Drake) Franks was born on February 15, 1928 in Fowler, OH.

Ann and her husband owned the former Kennedy Dutchboy Paint store in Wintersville, Ohio.

She also was a Society Editor for the Steubenville Herald Star Newspaper and served as the Sorority House Mom for Chi Omega at Kent State University. She enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, and sewing.

Ann is survived by,

Son, Skip (Cheryl) Kennedy of Mentor; Grandchildren, Sean and Kourteney Kennedy of Mentor, Ohio, and Sister, Irene.

She was Preceded in death by,

Husband, Dexter Kennedy in 1970, and infant son in 1957.

Private Burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery in Solon.
