A celebration of life and Mass of Christian Burial for Anna L. Moffett, Age 87, will be held Monday at 10:00 am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Twp., OH. Family and Friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Sunday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville, OH.

Anna was born April 18, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA.  She passed away May 4, 2016 at Salida Woods Assisted Living in Mentor surrounded by her family.

Anna worked at Sears Department Store and was a long time volunteer at the St. Gabriel food Bank.  She enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting.

She is survived by:

Daughters:  Ann (Dennis) Schiele, Lynda (Bruce) Slotnick, Karen Moffett, Debora Lesiacsek

Sons:  Donald (Janice) Moffett, Robert (Karen) Moffett

Grandchildren:  Leslie (Eric) Garrett, Stephanie Moffett, Brandon Moffett, Justin Slotnick, Matthew Slotnick, Megan Moffett, Ashley Moffett, Ryan Lesiacsek and Aaron Lesiacsek

Great Grandchildren:  Madilynn Garrett and Eleanor Garrett

Anna and her husband were  foster parents to over 40 infants and children.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Moffett, parents, Herman and Mary Ellen (Flanagan) Decker, brother, Herman Decker, and sisters, Caroline O'Brien, Margaret Arcidiacono and Mary Battaglia.

Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio.
