Anna L. Sekki, age, 89, passed away at her residence, surrounded by her family, February 19, 2021.  She was born January 11, 1932 in Painesville to Vitale and Mary (Martone) Valocchi.

Anna was a life-time Painesville resident.  She was the head cook for Painesville City Schools at Harvey High School for many years.  Anna was a member of St. Mary Church in Painesville, the Legion of Mary, Pompeii Society and Red Hat Club.  She enjoyed praying the rosary, taking casino trips, cooking, and baking.  But most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Anna is survived by her son, Michael D. (Kathy) Sekki; daughters, Adele (Frank) Zalek, Cindy (Chuck) Franko, Mary Sekki and Lisa (Sean) Seibert; grandchildren Frank, Christopher, Joe, David, Tyler, Taylor, Jenna, Shelby and Sara; great grandchildren, Zachary, Josh, Bri, Cooper and Brinley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Dale Sekki; brothers, Eugene Valocchi, Anthony Valocchi; and her parents.

The family would like to especially thank Julie Falvey, Anna's caregiver and also, Cousin Sue, from Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville, OH.  PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  Family and friends will be received from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Monday, February 22nd at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.   The rosary will be recited at 3:45 PM, please join us.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
