Memorial visitation for Anthony J. Averson, age 58, of Las Vegas, formerly of Eastlake, will be held 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday March 8th, 2019 at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.

Anthony was born July 25,1960 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Grant C. and Deborah (Lakis) Averson.  He passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada, February 8, 2019 after a long battle with cancer

He was a graduate of North High School, Eastlake class of 1979. Anthony enjoyed baseball. He was an avid follower of the Cleveland Indians and Seattle Mariners. He also enjoyed travel. He spent many years living in Alaska.

Anthony is survived by his parents, Grant and Deborah Averson of Willoughby; brother, William (Marianne) Averson of Painesville Twp; sisters, Elaine Hope (Mike Doyle) of Florida and Melissa Averson of Willoughby; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Grant V. Averson.
