Anthony J. Madda III (Butch) passed away peacefully at home in Painesville on February 3rd.  He was born October 30, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio to Anthony J. Madda Jr. and Elizabeth (Mattucci) Madda.

Anthony proudly served in the United States Navy. He retired from Penton Publishing and worked part time for many years at AutoZone. He is survived by his 4 sons Paul (Shelly McGeever) Madda, Tony (Cheryl) Madda, David (Chelsea Padula) Madda, and Steven (Rebecca) Madda. Brothers Robert (Sharon Benjamin) Madda and Larry (Denise) Madda, sister; Cathy (Bernal) Villani. Grandchildren Dominick Madda, Antonia Madda, Breannin Wunn, Autumn Madda, Niccole Madda, Lydia Nye, Steven Madda Jr., Giada Madda, and his only great grandson Vinny Merchak.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Linda (Fleming) Madda, his parents Anthony Jr. and Elizabeth, sister Rosemary Madda and sister in law, Jackie Madda.

Friends and family will be received at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. in Painesville on Tuesday, February 15, from 4-7 with services to follow.
