Anthony Urbas, age 87, passed away April 22, 2026, in Painesville, Ohio. He was born November 10, 1938, in Mentor to Frank J. Urbas and Mary (Kuhar) Urbas.

Anthony served in the United States Army. He was an auto body repairman and worked for Andy's Auto body for many years. Before that he worked at Classic Carriage with his brothers and for the family business Urbas and Sons.

Anthony enjoyed AA fuel dragster racing: team name was Toil and Urbas. He enjoyed playing with his great nieces, tending to the yard and all things automotive.

Anthony is survived by his brothers; James (Donna) Urbas, John Urbas, Raymond (Cheryl) Urbas; Sisters; Margaret Pancher, Rosie Derk, as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Frank Urbas Jr., and Donald Urbas; sisters, Janet Hanzak, Mary Ann Koerper, and Joanne Brawner.

Friends will be received Saturday April 25th from 2:00PM - 4:00PM at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 4:00 PM. Burial will be at Mentor Cemetery.
