Private graveside services for Barbara A. Rowan were held at Perry Cemetery.

Mrs. Rowan was born September 27, 1942 in Painesville and passed away October 2, 2017 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.

Barbara loved to go to the Painesville Speedway car races to watch her family.  She also enjoyed crocheting.  But most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Charles L. Rowan whom she married October 18, 1958; children, Linda (Paul) Hanson, Derine (Richard) Duncan, Deshane (David) Griffin, Charles (Tina) Rowan Jr., Mat Rowan, Kenneth (Melissa) Rowan, and Barbara M. (Josh) Ziegler; sisters, Eva Welch and Shirley Huffman; sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Marie (Starliper) Brainard; brother, Glen Brainard; and grandson, Nicholas Cicconetti.
