Barbara Jane (Mackey) Moore passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015, at Hospice House in Cleveland in the arms of her husband George H. Moore, Sr. who was at her side along with her 4 children and 8 grandchildren. She was greeted in the arms of Jesus, her Savior. She was born May 20, 1940, in Painesville, Ohio to the Late Vernie "Fat" and Iola Mackey who were residents of Painesville, Ohio. Barb was a beautiful person and always had a smile to share. She served in her church and taught a kindergarten Sunday School class for over 30 years. She was overcome with Multiple Sclerosis for the past 22 years. Her husband cared for her in their home. Her favorite things were her grandchildren and the family dog "Mack" who were therapy to her in her illness. Barb is survived by her husband of 53 years, George H. Moore, Sr.; son George (Cyndi) Moore, Jr. of Perry, OH; daughter Kimberly (Dan) Selle of Kirtland Hills, OH; son Mark (Sarah) Moore of Trumbull Twp., OH; son Kenneth of Concord Twp., OH; brother Vernie (Salley) Mackey of Warren, OH; sister Beth (Patrick) Snowden of Perry, OH; grandson Kyle Moore; granddaughter Lindsey (Scott) Yeagley; grandson Garren Moore; granddaughter Dana (Tim) O'Keefe; granddaughter Kara Selle; grandson Joshua Selle; grandson Jeremiah Selle; and granddaughter Lora Grace Selle. She is preceded in death by her parents & her brother, Alan Mackey. A memorial service will be held at the Painesville Church of the Nazarene at 6235 Chestnut St., Painesville, Ohio, on Friday, January 23, at 11:00 am with Pastor Terry Weyman, Jr. officiating.
