Graveside Services for Bernard E. Wayner, age 94, of Painesville

will be held 1:30 PM Thursday December 10th, 2020 at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.

Bernard was born November 5, 1926 in Conneaut, Ohio to John and Rose (Beno) Wayner.  He passed away December 6, 2020 in Geneva OH.

He attended Harding High School, served in the US Army, Merchant Marines, and fought in the Korean War.  Bernard was married for 72 years to his lovely wife Irene. He loved to travel, go to Casinos. watch golf on TV, scratch off lottery tickets and he especially enjoyed visits with his great great niece, Sofia.

Bernard is survived by his sister, Delores Fratino; brothers, Joseph Wayner, Ray (Rosie) Wayner; sister-in-law, Martha Wayner and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irene; son, Dale; brothers Walter (Fay) Wayner, William Wayner; sisters, Regina (Don) Kallay and Theresa (Edward) Kever; brother-in-law, Phillip Fratino and sister-in law, Vicki Wayner.

Special thanks to his nephew, Kenny; nieces, Ann Manross and Judy Wayner for taking care of him since Irene's passing.
