Memorial services for Betty Elizabeth Horne Wilson, age 93, of Chardon Township, will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 19th at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, OH.

Betty was born September 19, 1923 in Round Bottom, West Virginia and passed away March 14, 2017 at Altercare of Mentor.

She was the daughter of Augustus A. & Nellie (Travis) Horne.

She graduated from Moundsville WV. High School, Class of 1941 and attended Elliott Business College in Wheeling, WV.  During WW II she was with the Air Services Command at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH.  She worked as a clerk/typist from 1942-1944.

Betty married Lewis M. Wilson, May 27, 1944 at the Methodist Church in Moundsville, WV.

She is survived by her son, David (Linda) Wilson; daughter, Deborah K. Stukbauer; two grandchildren, Aimee and James; two great-grandsons, J.D. and Cole.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers, John, Finley and Marion Horne and her sister, Dorothy (Harold) Wolfe.
