Carl was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville and the Concord Community Band. He was a graduate of Thomas W. Harvey High School in Painesville. Carl enjoyed music, bike riding and church fellowship. Carl was a self-employed horticulturist for many years. Carl was preceded in death by his father Stanley F. Remkus, his mother Ruth Gloria Malone and his sister Jennifer Louise Kulesza. He is survived by Brother Tom (Shelley) Koutnik of Akron Uncle Richard Myllykoski of Painesville Aunt Elaine Clemens of Painesville Aunt Lillian Myllykoski of Sebastian, Florida Nephews Aaron (Emily) Koutnik of Portland, Oregon and Jamison (Rachel) Blose of Akron And also by many cousins.
