Mass of Christian Burial for Carmelo Garofalo age 88 of Painesville will be Monday at 9:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church 242 North State St. Painesville. Friends and family will be received Sunday from2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Painesville. The Son of Filippo and Antonina (Milici) Garofalo was born October 26, 1926 in Novara Di Sicilia Passed away October 30, 2014 at Altercare of Mentor Nursing Home in Concord Twp. Carmelo was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church , and served in the Italian Navy. He retired in 1991 from the City of Painesville Municipal Electric Plant. John (Renee) Garofalo of Sagamore Hills and Charles Garofalo of Highland Heights; daughters, Susanna (Terry) McManus of Painesville Township and Rosanna Garofalo of Lombard, Ill.; daughter-in-law, Debbie Garofalo; and grandchildren, Hallie, Jennifer (Richard), Darcie (Mark), Erin, Brian and Jayne. Great Grandchildren James Michael and Emma Rose, Sisters Agostina Guittari and Agata Garofalo, brothers, Giuseppe (Maria) Garofalo and Salvatore (Tita) Garofalo
