Carol Lee Evenson, age 81, passed away March 26, 2023 in Mineral Ridge, Ohio.  She was born May 17, 1941, in Painesville to Clinton W. "Pat" Arkenburg and Zoe G. (St. John Cameron) Arkenburg.

Carol was born and raised in Painesville and was a member of Painesville United Methodist Church.  She worked in customer service for Lifeline Screening in Cleveland, and also worked in the Athletic Department at Lake Erie College as the secretary.  She was also the president of the parent teacher association, and was heavily involved with the Painesville city schools.

Carol is survived by her son, Clarence (Terese) Evenson; daughter, Zoe Edwards; grandchildren, JJ, Tony, Dakota, Jamie, Ashley and Chad; six great grandchildren; nieces, Constance and Chris; nephews, Guy and Mark; great nephew, Ryan; cousin, Dale Arkenburg Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Edna (Clayton) Warner; Willard Arkenburg; brother, Laurence "Larry" Arkenburg; aunts, Jean (Harry) Pike, Verna (Les) Cameron and Ruth (Gene) Bernardo; uncle, Dale (Diane) Arkenburg; cousins, Doris J. Pike, Dan Pike, Charlene Horvath, David Pike, and Shirley (Bob) Martin.
