Carol Ann Satej, age 86,  passed away March 20th 2022 at the Lantern of Madison.

She was born June 14, 1935, in Madison, Ohio to Frank and Agnes (Sippola) Wickert.

Carol was a dietary aid in the nutritional service department at Lake East Hospital for over 26 years.  She enjoyed bowling and playing golf.

Carol was a member of St. Cyprian Catholic Church.  She was secretary for the AMLA Lodge #30 for over 30 years.  She was also a member of SNPJ Lodge #355, the Slovenian Club and the Slovenian Woman's Union #68.

Carol is survived by her son, Anthony "Tony" Satej Jr.; son-in-law John Kohr; brother, Frank (Ruth) Wickert; grandchildren, Jenny (Eric) Willard, Nick (Valerie) Kohr, and Kelly (Nate) Tallman; great grandchildren, Brody Krantz, Gannon Kohr, Ryder Kohr, Joseph Willard, Julia Willard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony L. Satej Sr. in 2012; daughter, Lynne Kohr in 2021; sister, Eleanor Starkey; and her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM Thursday, March 24, 2022, at St. Cyprian's Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry, Ohio.   Friends will be received 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday March 23, 2022, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
