Carolyn passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home, May 26, 2014. Born July 26, 1933 in Painesville to Loring A. and Caroline M. (Bonner) Stebbins, Carolyn was the beloved mother of seven; Charon (Stan) LeBail of Painesville, David (Kathy) Collins of Monroe, NC, Cindy (Ray) Whited of Perry, Becky (Don) Nesselrotte of Painesville, Kim Mowle of Perry, Bill (Brenda) Collins of Willoughby and stepson; Eugene Chambers of Richeyville, PA. She was the proud grandmother of thirteen, great-grandmother of eighteen, and cherished sister of Janet Cook of Sagamore Hills. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings; Marilyn R. Swope, Marjorie A. Sloban, Loring J. "Steb" Stebbins, and Christine C. Krzywicki. Carolyn was a life-long Lake County resident growing up in Mentor, then residing in Perry and Painesville until 2013 when she greatly enjoyed making her final home with her daughter Cindy and husband Ray in Perry. Carolyn waitressed at a number of area restaurants including; Manners, Hellriegels and Quagliata's White House, retiring from Carlisle Allen. She will be fondly remembered as a happy, fun-loving and giving woman who's door was always open.
