A Memorial Service for Carolyn R.  (Eastman) Chase, 82, will be held Saturday, November 10 at 11:00 am at the Community Church of Chesterland 11984 Caves Road Chesterland, OH 44026.

Carolyn was born June 24, 1936 in Hartford, Connecticut to Harold Lewis and Marjorie A. (Kneeland) Eastman.  She passed away September 8, 2018 in Highland Heights, Ohio.

Carolyn lived in West Hartford until 1950 and then her family moved to Lancaster, Ohio.  She was a graduate of Lancaster High School in 1954 and Denison University in 1958.  After graduating she worked in the insurance industry, maintaining her interest in playing the cello and in music.  She was very talented and played in the Lakeland Civic Orchestra and a number of other orchestras throughout her lifetime.

Carolyn was a real estate agent, working in Ohio and Michigan for over 30 years and was a member of the Real Estate Professional Standard Committee.  She was also a member of the Community Church of Chesterland.

She is survived by her sons, Scott H. Chase and Mark A. (Heather) Chase; granddaughters, Abigayle Chase and Madileine Chase.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert S. Chase in 2009; and her parents.
