Funeral services for Carolyn Horton, age 88, will be 4:00pm Wednesday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville where friends will be received from 2:00pm until time of services. A Concord Twp. resident, Carolyn was born on December 18, 1927 in Painesville and passed away with her family at her side on April 23, 2016 at her residence.She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Painesville and enjoyed Blue Grass Music, Sewing, Traveling, and Antiques. Survived by, Husband, Harold Horton; Daughter, Susan Lawler-McCullough of Eastlake; Sons, James (Debbie) Horton of Perry Twp. and Wayne (Kerry) Horton of Concord Twp.; Daughter-in-Law, Robin Lawler of South Carolina; Grandchildren, Jason McCullough, Tyler Lawler, and Shelby Lawler; Sarah (Abdel) Moukhliss and Elizabeth Palichat; and Bryan (Katy) Horton, Katie Horton, and Heather Horton; 7 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by,1st Husband, Ray Lawler; Son, Jerry Lawler; Parents, Harold and Ethel (Pritcheau) Phelps; and Brothers, Raymond Phelps and Harold Phelps.

Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville
