Funeral Services for Carolyn (Spear) McCoy, 83, of Madison Township, will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Friends will be received Tuesday 10 AM until time of service, at the funeral home.  Private burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.

Mrs. McCoy was born January 9, 1935 in Cleveland.  She passed away, December 6, 2018 surrounded by her family at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Township.

Carolyn was a life-time Lake County resident.  She worked as a billing clerk for Midwest Materials for many years.  She loved watching the birds, flowers, picture framing, and stamping. In her younger years she loved horseback riding. Carolyn loved spending time with family and friends.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 48 years, Donald L. McCoy; sister, Linda (Spear) Crellin of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; children, Larry L. Rippin Jr. (Barbara), Lori (Rippin) Gilmer (Greg), Lee Rippin (Debbie), Gary McCoy, and Rusty McCoy; eight grandchildren, Deanna, Larry III, Christopher, Matthew, Jamie, Jessie, Zakary and Seth; six great-grandchildren, Larry IV, Lily, Christian, Crystal, Michael and Irene.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Helen (Ostrander) Spear; and brother, John L. Spear Jr.
