Memorial services for Christopher J. Wilkie, age 59, a lifetime Painesville resident, will be 3 pm Saturday January 14, 2017, at the Painesville United Methodist Church,  71 North Park Place, Painesville. Rev. Jan Yandell will officiate. There will be a meet and greet with cookies and punch to follow.

Christopher was born on January 4, 1958 in Painesville and passed away January 4, 2017 at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Township.

Christopher was in sales  for several companies for many years.  He was a 1976 graduate of Thomas W. Harvey High School in Painesville and received a bachelor's degree from Capitol University in music education.

He had a love of writing and listening to music and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.

He is survived by his children, Kayla Wilkie, Ryan (Crystal) Wilkie, Andrew (Destiny) Wilkie and Zach Wilkie; grandchildren, Ashlen, Morgan, Stormy, Zoey and Hunter Wilkie; Father, Robert Wilkie; brother, Michael  (Jan) Wilkie; sisters, Marion (Roger) Lampman and Katie (John) Eckliff.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Nancy C. (Rippin) Wilkie in 2016
