Obituary

Mass of Christian Burial for Clarence J. Stanek, age 88, will be 11:00 am Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church 16550 Rock Creek Rd., Thompson. Friends will be received from 2-6 pm Saturday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 6687 Mentor Ave. Painesville. The son of Frank W. and Mary Stanek was born on February 26, 1927 in Cleveland. A Leroy Twp. resident for many years, Clarence passed away on April 15, 2015 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord.

Clarence served with the US Marine Corps during world war II, participating in the Pacific Theatre.

Clarence was a HVAC Technician for many years last working for Bill Reynolds

A member of St. Patrick Church, Clarence enjoyed working cross word puzzles

He is survived by, Wife of 51 yrs., Rosemarie (Goerndt) Stanek Children, Christopher (Jamie) Stanek Nick (Natalie) Stanek Frank (Lisa LeNeve) Stanek Geri (Jose) Clayton Teresa (Chip) Baxter Francine (Don) Rolli Jacqui Stanek Margaret Reed Catherine Malachowsky

16 Grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild

Preceded in death by, 1 Brother and 3 Sisters Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland
