- Constance "Connie" Mullins Wander, a Christian, born February 21, 1943, entered The Lord's kingdom on her 83rd birthday, February 21, 2026. She was born in the hills of "Wild, Wonderful West Virginia" in the town of Whitman. The oldest of 4 daughters of June Mullins Cook Jackie, Nita, and Johnna, Connie was raised by her grandparents Erastes and Juanita Mullins.
- Connie married Richard Wander on June 6th, 1970 and they were nearing 56 years of marriage. Together they had four children: Kathy, who passed at birth; Jessica, (1978-2018) and sons, Joshua and Jordan. She is survived by her husband, two sons and her grandchild, Caleb who she loved so dearly.
- She was preceded in death by her daughters.
- A selfless, kindhearted , and God-fearing woman. Connie was often a "second mother" to the neighborhood children. Her compassion reflected her faith, and her wisdom lives on.
- A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on June 6th at Victory Baptist Church, 8911 Lakeshore Blvd. Mentor, Ohio 44060. A luncheon is to follow the service.
- God bless Connie she will be deeply missed.
