Cynthia Ann (Cindy) Orosz, age 68, of Painesville Township, passed away May 8, 2026. She was born June 10, 1957, in Painesville to James H. Curtis and Mary Ann (Giratos) Curtis.

Cindy was a seamstress and hair stylist for many years, and worked for David’s Bridal, Dillards, Fantastic Sam’s hair salon, Giant Eagle bakery, and the Center for Dialysis Care. She was also a certified Medical Assistant.

Cindy enjoyed many hobbies in life but her passions were sewing, quilting, cake decorating, baking, painting, gardening and enjoying the outdoors.

Cindy built a community of friends and family in the YMCA and with many church groups in the area. She most cherished spending time with family, which included many trips throughout the states, camping, and motorcycle rides with her husband, Doug. They would often take their beloved dachshunds along with them.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Doug Orosz, daughter, Holly (Jeremiah) Horton, sons, Michael (Tracy) Orosz, Stephen Orosz, and grandchild Alex Horton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, David Curtis and James M. Curtis.

A celebration of life is being planned in the near future, details to come.
