Cynthia J. Thompson Mandelli, age 73, passed away April 18, 2026, at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Township.  She was born March 31, 1953, in Buckhannon, West Virginia to Theodore B. Payne and Jewell F. (Lough) Payne.

Cynthia worked for C V S for many years.  She was a devout member of Family of Faith Church in Fairport Harbor.

Cynthia enjoyed being active on social media and especially enjoyed visiting places with her husband and making new friends.  She also enjoyed meals out and walks along the lake.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Alessandro "Alex" Mandelli; sons, Matthew Thompson and Mark Thompson; brothers, Brooks Payne, Bruce Payne and Lyle Payne; sister, Renee Burr.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kermit Randy Thompson and her parents.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Riverside Cemetery.
