Daine Anthony
Carlisle
May 14, 1983 – March 13, 2026
On March 13, a quiet stillness settled over all who knew and loved Daine Anthony Carlisle. He tragically and unexpectedly left us to face life without him.
Daine always marched to the beat of his own drum. From the time he was a little boy, with his fiery red hair and unforgettable personality, it was clear that he was uniquely himself. He was a thoughtful and introverted soul with many talents, but his greatest passion was music. From the first time he picked up a guitar, his gift was undeniable. Music became an important part of his life, and through the songs he wrote and recorded, he leaves behind pieces of himself for others to remember and cherish. Daine was truly one of a kind. A deep thinker with a kind heart, he touched the lives of those around him in quiet but meaningful ways. Though his life was cut far too short, the memories he created and the music he shared will remain with those who loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Waddington; his father, Richard Carlisle (Donetta); his sisters, Erin(Beau), Christine(Clayton), and Andrea (Kyle); his grandmother, Dorothy Waddington; his grandfather, Richard Carlisle; his grandparents, Karl and Martha Fielding and Tom and Donna Nimberger; his aunts, Veneta (Don), Laura Ann; his uncles, Nick(Diane), Alex, John, and Donnie (Gloria); and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who shared in his love of music.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Waddington, and his grandmother, Kay Nimberger.
Life will be different and difficult without Daine. He had many wonderful friends who shared his passion for music and who were an important part of his life. In time, his family hopes to compile his many musical works so that friends and loved ones may gather for a celebration of life where his music can be shared and enjoyed together.
Calling hours in honor of Daine will be held 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. A Funeral Service will follow, to wish him farewell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stella Maris, Inc., an organization that had a profound impact on Daine's quality of life, 1320 Washington Avenue, Cleveland, Oh 44113.
Daine's light went out far too soon, but the love he shared and the music he created will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
