Dale Norman McWilliams, age 93, passed away December 13, 2021, in Burton, Ohio. He was born June 26,1928 in Webster, West Virginia to Howard Eli and Mildred (Fletcher) McWilliams.

Dale served in the United States Marine during the Korean War. He lived in Lake County since 1947 and attended Lakeside Baptist Church, serving many years as a trustee. Dale retired from the City of Painesville but spent many years as Maintenance Supervisor for Erie Coke and Chemical and Diamond Alkali/Shamrock. He enjoyed gardening, country music, attending Bluegrass concerts, old cars and trucks and taking train rides in neighboring states. He especially loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dale is survived by his daughters, Karen (Tom) Honkala of Burton, Michelle (Jerry) Parish of Thompson; dear friend, Mettie O'Brien of Painesville; grandchildren, Mathew (Nikki) Honkala, Megan (Rich) Guthrie and Katie (Craig) Honkala-Voorhees; great grandchildren, Evan, Emma, Peyton, Ben, Audrey, Bailey, Morgan, and Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha McWilliams in 2006, brother, Robert Vincent McWilliams, sister, Mary Susan Smith, brother, Herbert Ray McWilliams, and his parents.

Family and friends will be received from 4:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Lakeside Baptist Church, 306 Fairport Nursery Road in Painesville. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
