Visitation for Daniel M. Smith will be held from 4-7 pm Tuesday January 23rd at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.

Daniel was born June 6, 1962 in Painesville and passed away January 19, 2018 in Painesville.

He was a lifelong meat cutter in Lake County. He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, country music, and trips to Canada with his family and best friend Herb Wilson.

Daniel is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (William) Chew; grandchildren, Phoebe and William Chew Jr, mother, Marie Smith; brother, Jeff (Marissa) Smith; sister, Debbie Smith; and dear friend, Sandee Smith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Smith.
