Darlene J. Workman, age 69, of Mentor, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Twp., OH.  She was born July 5,1952 in Euclid, OH to John and Beverly Jean (Herbert) Gezymalla.

She was a librarian at the Mentor Library. Darlene enjoyed reading, drawing, and making jewelry from all different kinds of gemstones.

Darlene is survived by her sons, Nick (Melony) Workman Gezymalla, Mike Workman and grandson, Nicholas Gezymalla Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Holdridge Workman, in March of 2020.

The family will receive friends 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday, November 12th at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, where funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM following calling hours.
