Private services for Dolly V. Rizzo were held at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home.

Dolly was the daughter of Harry and Estelle (Fulcher) Taylor and was born May 12, 1932 in Morehead, North Carolina.  She passed away November 23, 2016 at Brookdale of Mentor surrounded by her family.

Dolly was a very loving, and tenacious woman, who fought through her Rheumatoid Arthritis like a champ. She was diagnosed when she was just 35 years old, and did not let it slow her down. She loved to entertain, and made everyone in her home feel welcome and definitely well fed.  Dolly helped her husband, Dr. Salvatore Rizzo, in his office for many years.  She was a member of the Christ Child Society. She had a special bond with her Grandson Joey, and loved listening to his music.  She also enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Salvatore G. Rizzo of Painesville, whom she married October 30, 1948.  Son, Lawrence D. (Lori) Rizzo; Grandson, Joseph Rizzo; Brother, Jerry  (Clara) Taylor; and sister, June Dare "Honey"  (Barry) Page.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Mary ((Freddy) Hunter, Nadine (Maney) Salter, and Brother Paul "Buddy" (Mary) Taylor.
