Funeral services for Dolly F. Ross, age 89, will be 11:00 am Thursday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville, where friends will be received from 7-9 pm Wednesday.  A resident of Northeast Ohio and a 15yr. resident of Florida, Dolly passed away Dec 25, 2016 at Brookdale of Mentor.

The daughter of John and Elsie (Skyles) Harris was born on January 30, 1927 in Charleston, West Virginia.

A homemaker, Dolly worked in retail and day care. Mrs. Ross was a member of the Painesville Baptist Church.

A  loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who devoted her life to her family is survived by, Children,  Brenda (Denzel) Burrows, John (Barb) Kessinger, Janet (Richard) Cole, Naomi (Ed Raphael) Somerville, and Lisa (Steven) Lynch ; Grandmother of Rick Reese, Shelly Denison, Robert Kessinger, Lara Walker, Timothy Cole, Kenneth Reese, Kevin Kessinger, Greg Kessinger, Jennifer Reed, Mindy Godfrey, Jeremy Somerville, Angela Somerville, Tina Somerville, Eric Morlan, and Amanda Lynch; great grandmother of 27. Preceded in death by her 1st husband, Euell Kessinger in 1983 and her 2nd husband, William Ross in 1994; parents; siblings, Edward Harris, Pauline Twig, Irene Wright, Benjamin Harris, Gladys Baldwin, Ray Harris, Fannie Dowdle, and infant sister Virginia Harris.

Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
