Dolores Mae Canfield, age 90, passed away November 24th  in her home surrounded by family.  She was born August 14, 1932, in Wellington, Ohio to Emil and Florence (Hall) Schwanke.

Dolores was the organist at Riverview Church for many years. She was also a music teacher for the Perry School District, Pfabe's Music Store and in her home. Earlier in her life she was a singer and song writer. She could play most music instruments.

She enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren.   She loved music and playing the organ.

Dolores is survived by her husband of 67 years, Eugene Canfield; son, Mark (Kathy) Canfield; daughter, Michelle (Todd) Sweeney; brother, Delmar Schwanke; daughter-in-law, Tricia Pangonis; grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Amy, Tiffany, Sam, Madeline, Ryan, Erynn, Craig, Kevin, John and Luke and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Canfield, and her parents.

Friends will be received November 28th 2022 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.  Graveside service will be private.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve.
