Dominick K. Vendi, age 91, passed away October 1, 2021, at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township.  He was born, July 30, 1930, in Painesville to Dominick and Dominica (Notte) Vendi.

Dominick was a factory worker and worked for local manufacturing companies for many years.  He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fairport Harbor.  He was also a member of VFW Post 7754, the Hungarian Culture Club, and the Chardon Eagles. Dominick loved making and sharing his homemade wine.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.

Dominick is survived by his sons, Gary (Alberta) Vendi and Mark Vendi; grandchildren, Ninetti Vendi, Vadra (Mike) Yager, Michelle (Mark) Ebeling, and Jon Vendi; seven great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law,  Jack and Annette Vendi, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Frances (Volanski) Vendi, who passed away in June 2020; five sisters and their spouses, Dorothy and Ed Harkins, Theresa and Dale Ugorchak, Lucille and William Potts, Jean and Horace Rigby, Phyllis and Richard Whitely.

A Memorial Mass for Dominick will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday October 8, 2021, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 316 Fifth Street, Fairport Harbor.  Inurnment will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
