Mass of Christian Burial for Donald D. Crouse, age 86, will be 11:00 am Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville. Please meet Wednesday at the church for services.

A Painesville Twp. resident, Donald was born on February 23, 1930, in Barbour County, West Virginia, and passed away with his family at his side on July 30, 2016, at Brookdale of Mentor Assisted Living.

Donald served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War.

He retired in 1990 as a supervisor for the former I.C.I. Chemical Co. in Perry. He also volunteered as a Firefighter for 18 yrs. for the Painesville Twp. Fire Dept. at Bowhall Road Station.

Donald was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 947 in Painesville.

He is survived by,

Wife, Leona (Federici) Crouse, whom he married on July 27, 1952

Children,

Greg Crouse of Fairport Harbor;Donna (Vernon) Rose of Geneva; Melissa (Richard) Gurley of Mentor; and Phil Crouse of Painesville

Grandchildren, Melanie Barress, Leann Kerr, Donald Rose, Dillon Crouse, Rachel Gurley, and Nicole Gurley

8 Great Grandchildren also survive.

Siblings; Orlan Crouse, Jr. of Philippi, WV; Helen Galiano of Buchannon, WV; Joanne of NJ; and Patty Crouse of Bridgeport, WV

Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery
