Donald G. Hensley, age 73, passed away July 9, 2022, at University Hospitals in Cleveland.  He was born October 26, 1948, in Blaine, Kentucky.

Donald worked in the chemistry lab at Lubrizol Corporation for many years.  He enjoyed country music, old and new, classic cars and working with computers.  Don also enjoyed socializing with people, he never met a stranger…to him, every person in the world was just a friend he hadn't met yet.

Donald is survived by his dearest friend and companion, Lori Humphreys; daughters, Regina (Steven) Kepes and Rhonda (Greg) Shahan; stepsons, Shawn Pettifer and Steven Pettifer; grandchildren, Samantha (Ed Getch) Kepes, Tyler Kepes, Russell Kepes, Anthony Kelsh, Randy Kelsh, and Tristan Shahan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Trilba Wellman.

Family and friends will be received 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Services will be held immediately following at 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
